Let's get it started

I'm a mechanical engineering student. I got my bachelor degree but going for masters.

I got myself a 3D printer just because I was curious and wanted to see how it works and what can I do with this new technology.

After I got the hang of it and made a few parts for my friends I decided to make a business out of this.

With knowledge of CAD and some experience I got from my product developing job, I started designing and 3D printing mostly car related parts like alloy wheel center caps, badges, interior parts and so on for people who got my contact from my previous customers. After this started happening, next step was for me to make a website and social network profiles to get my name even further out there.

I am no expert in business models, marketing or any of that, so I believe if I can make it, maybe somebody else, who is also new to business, can get that little push and courage to try it on their own. Needless to doesn't have to be related to 3D printing, just do what you love doing.

I made this blog with a goal to write about 3D printing, obviously, but also I will do my best to write about steps I take and strategies I will use to get my name recognizable.

The first step was to make a website. I did it using wix.com and no, I am not sponsored by them, although I wouldn't mind a reduction in price. ;)

This was very easy, and editing is limitless. You can do whatever you need to make your website just the way you want it without writing a single line of code.

After publishing this website I'll make instagram and facebook profiles to boost my presence on this beautiful marketing platform we call internet.
